i checked last week and their was nothing, but checked again today and it looked around the size of a small pea..
she's seven months, just wondering how quickly she needs to go to the vet, we where planning on going soon anyway, need to get the money first xD
how long will she be okay for?
+ will her behaviour change? xD

Good idea to take her to the vet asap. In Australia we tend to de-sex ferrets at 6 months so now is the time.

I have to agree with Tracy.( Take her to a vet ASAP ) Mined you, I live in the US and all our ferrets are usally fixed when we purchase them. I know nothing about Breeding Ferrets, nor do I want to breed ferrets. I do know that some illness, will cause them to look & act like they are in heat. My prayers are with you & your sweet baby. Please keep us posted on how she is doing ??

she wont be in full season yet and even if you take her for the jab or the op she will stay swollen for a week or so my jill came into season nearly 3 weeks ago the came out and back in till the other day when she hit her peak and fingers crossed is pregers
as for her mood that shouldnt change mine is fine still worked fine and just the same as before but i couldnt tell you what she'll be like if she has the op i wouldnt think it would do anything most animals dont change after the op

she will get to the size of a runner bean bean at the moment it should look closed but when shes reached full season it will open slightly
just make sure its kept clean no playing in the mud and no ink (shreaded news paper) bedding
when you say pdsa i take it your in the uk my vet wanted £70 to do the op but i found a good vet that does it for £30 i might try the pdsa anything to save a few bob lol

As long as the vet knows what he or she is doing.. our first vet never did the op on ferrets and did not
close Xena up right. She had to under again the same week. He also asked us if they had to take out everything
or just do it as they do with cats...

30 or 70 GBP/USD/AUD/EURO whatever, if the vet is bad and has no clue even 10 is expensive...
If the op is done right, my ferret comes out healthy even 100 is cheap!

The life of a pet is priceless, but becomes very expensive when a vet screws up.
