« Fri Jun 30, 2017 11:42 am »   I actually buy the dog one because it works out cheaper and the ingredients only differ slightly + I don't use it as their main diet. If it's to be used as a main diet, probably best to buy the cat one. I buy it from Pet Circle among other places... https://www.petcircle.com.au/product/zi ... od-venison
« Fri Jun 30, 2017 11:40 am »   Bit late to the conversation but Ziwipeak dry cat food is avalable in Australia. I have purchased it many times and I highly recommend it for ferrets and cats... biggest downside of it is the fact it is so expensive!
« Tue Jun 20, 2017 1:18 am »   This pet store only stocks Ziwipeak wet cat food .. https://search.mypetwarehouse.com.au/se ... peak%20cat
« Tue Jun 20, 2017 1:16 am »   Brian ... I found Ziwipeak dog food but still have to come across their cat food ;) http://www.petfoodreviews.com.au/dry-do ... air-dried/
« Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:29 pm »   FOURTEEN kits??? Karla that is fantabulous!!!! Really wonderful! I hope they all survive! Congratulations, granny!!
« Mon Jun 12, 2017 12:59 pm »   I have kits! 14, half of them are polecat hybrids.
« Fri Jun 09, 2017 2:38 pm »   Dang it I am horrible with links. I just went to their home page. I saw their brand on some lists here in the u.s.
« Fri Jun 09, 2017 2:32 pm »   I will see if I can find a link. Pretty sure it was dry cat.
« Fri Jun 09, 2017 6:03 am »   Yes Brian - my "shorthand" for Australia's OZ :D Yes, I did a search and saw that there is a Ziwipeak brand of wet food for dogs and cats available here. Is that the one you meant? I thought it was a particular ferret food! :)
« Fri Jun 09, 2017 4:39 am »   We are switching to the wysong. The ziwi is made in New Zealand surprised you can't get that even. where is oz? I was assuming you means Australia.
« Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:27 am »   It tells you all the good brands and I can tell you that they're all missing from our pet food stores here in Oz :(
« Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:26 am »   Brian, have you seen this chart ?? http://ferretedu.weebly.com/ferret-food-charts.html
« Thu Jun 08, 2017 11:23 am »   I don't know if any US ferret owners here have tried your Ziwi brand. it's so unfortunate that it's not available in OZ :(
« Tue Jun 06, 2017 6:40 pm »   Another food I am also looking at trying is wysong ferret epigen 90.
« Tue Jun 06, 2017 3:57 am »   Has anyone tried Ziwi peak cat food for your fuzzies? I see it is available her, and might be one of the best foods to buy.
« Sun Jun 04, 2017 2:40 pm »   If you google wellpet, one word, they may have shipping available. The rescues ferrets we have were on a mix of two types of ferret food, and an inexpensive cat food from Costco. We had no trouble switching them over, and they eat it like crazy. We pay 28 bucks for a 5 lb bag. No grains in it. Where is oz? I know Dorothy went there in the movie, but never heard of a real place called that.
« Fri Jun 02, 2017 5:43 am »   We have a pretty small selection of cat food and virtually no ferret food here in Oz :( So disappointing :(
« Thu Jun 01, 2017 2:22 am »   We use wellness core cat food. Pretty expensive around 28 dollars per 5lb bag, and it is 48% protein.
« Wed May 31, 2017 4:59 am »   Brian, instructions on how to post a photo is at the top of the "Introductions" section. Hope it helps as I'm looking forward to seeing your babies :D
« Wed May 31, 2017 4:55 am »   I did screenshots of how to post a photo a while ago. I'll see if I can find it and then post it so that it helps you, Brian :P
« Wed May 31, 2017 4:54 am »   It's amazing how a good diet makes a ferret's poop smell better! It was about 22 years ago when I did a "test" to show someone how bad supermarket cat food was for ferrets. We had Whiskas which had multicoloured kibble and when I fed it to my guys, their poop was multicoloured and so stinky :o It really was a shock to the person I showed the photos to and I *think* he got his ferret decent food afterwards :)
« Mon May 29, 2017 5:26 pm »   They actually smell very little now, and the odor is quite pleasing.
« Mon May 29, 2017 5:25 pm »   Wasn't able to post a pic, but I am sure I will figure it out. The two ferrets we own came from a rescue. The main thing I have noticed is how much there smell has changed in the few weeks we have had them, and been feeding a good diet.
« Wed Mar 29, 2017 6:58 am »   What a nuisance >:(
